Our History

​​Our story begins in 2009, when Jim and Elham Ishak had a vision to provide high quality childcare for a price that's affordable for all families. Together with the Michigan Department of Human Services, they worked to create the center of their dreams, and were licensed later that year.  Our goal  is to provide superior quality preschool and early childhood development programs serving children from six weeks to twelve years of age.

Our Philosophy

Here at Lady Di, we strive to create a setting in which children will find warmth, comfort, and security while being offered an abundance of opportunities for movement, exploration, and self discovery according to each child's need, interest, and ability. Our staff encourages and supports each child in growing to their fullest potential by recognizing each stage of development and constructing an environment designed to nurture and facilitate growth during each stage, and helping children achieve independence, social competence, self discipline, a positive attitude,  and an enthusiasm for learning.
